Danae Hotel - Aegina

a) Clean and modern, beautiful sea views, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast

Very clean, good price, really enjoyed the swimming pool. Nice breakfast too.

It was a bit of a walk (15 mins) from Aegina port.

The view was great. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good as well. It was a quiet beach front hotel that was a lot of fun.

About 1 km walk to the town and dock, would have been easier to take a taxi.

The folks here were just as nice as pie. Our room had a swell balcony that looked right out over the sea, perfect for sippin' coffee in the mornin'. Breakfast was a downright spread, fresh fruit, yogurt, and all kinds of pastries. Only bummer was the shower could use some fixin' in the pressure department.

The location is a good walk outside the centre of Aegina (although we managed it comfortably with cases). The walk in to the town is worth while as it is fantastic and the taxi back at night was only 5 euro. great view of the ancient ruins and rugged coastline. The pool was excellent as were the standard of the rooms.

Perhaps it was because of the time of year, early October, and its location out of town that contributed to the peace and quiet which was much appreciated. The view from our room was superb and added to the relaxing atmosphere.

The shower cubicle was too small, elbows banged on each panel, and there was no fitting on the wall for the shower head; one had to improvise

Pool bar was very handy during the heat.

Pretty good location and rokms were clean and well-maintained.

Would have been good to have a mini-bar filled at least with water. Breakfast was adequate but no more.

Modern hotel with clean facilities in a perfect location next to a rocky beach and WALK TO THE CENTER OF THE TOWN. Perfect service and delicious breakfasts. Pool bar and lovely pool...

Arriving at Hotel Danae felt a bit off due to the unfriendly reception right from the start. Only one plug in the room was a hassle, and the air conditioning barely managed to cool. Despite this, the room itself was clean, with a decent view of the sea. The pool area was a highlight. The cushions on the sunbeds were comfortable. Breakfast was varied and of great quality, with a beautiful view from the breakfast area. It was a nice touch when the staff allowed us to use the facilities after check-out, offering fresh water and towels while we enjoyed the pool. On the downside, the road noise disrupted my sleep. Still, the inviting pool and friendly service were great.

Nice hotel just outside the town of Aegina. The breakfast was a nice surprise with hot omelette made on the spot. Helpful and very professional staff made us feel at home. Easy parking (an exquisit luxury in Aegina in summer), and a beautiful swimming pool.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were lovely and clean. Everybody took good care of us.

Unfortunatelty there was a school group at the hotel during our stay. It was hard to use the pool area as we were attacked by balls. But it was ok as we were able to get easily to the beach.

Great stay as a couple for 3 nights! Our twin room had a lovely sea view and a nice balcony. Breakfast was diverse, with tasty options that appealed to everyone. The pool was fantastic, and you could easily find a spot to relax without much crowding. Staff was super helpful, even carrying our bags to the room 😊

Great food avaialble at restaurant which has beautiful views. Staff were helpful especially when there was a taxi stike and we were given a free lift to the port. Good value for money!
